The outer shell of this jet helmet is made of a fiberglass, the inner lining is based on memory foam that softens in reaction to body heat and adapts to the shape of the head within a few minutes. Due to the use of this memory foam the Baruffaldi helmets come in three sizes instead of the usual five sizes other brands use.
Size 1 covers the regular sizes S and M (54/57)
Size 2 covers the regular sizes M and L (58/60)
Size 3 covers the regular size XL (61)

Perimetrical rim
The outer shell is finished with a plastic rim. This not only provides a neat finish but also offers protection to the outer shell. If the helmet is dropped on the ground, it is not immediately damaged.
Luxury inner lining
The inner lining is more luxurious compared to the standard lining. The lining is made of refined materials and has a luxurious look. The colours of the lining match the exterior of the helmet. The luxury lining can often be found on the more expensive helmets.
Micrometric buckle
The micrometric buckle is the most frequently used buckle on helmets and easy to use. The rattle buckle ensures that it can be adjusted to the correct position. The buckle is easily opened by pulling the red loop.
Goggles fixation
On the back of the helmet, there is a leather strap with a press stud. The elastic of the helmet goggles can be threaded through here. In this way, the elastic strap stays on the helmet while riding.
Average weight size M +/-1200gr
The weight of the helmet depends on the type of helmet. A jet-helmet is generally lighter than a system helmet. Glass fibre is also lighter than polycarbonate. The helmet is often measured in size M without visor. The second number on the sticker at the back of the helmet indicates the weight of the visor.
Sizes XS-S-M-L-XL
The size of the helmet is determined by the number of centimeters of head circumference. The size is measured with a measuring tape above the ears along the widest part of the head. The number of centimeters determines the size. The sizes are however an indication. This is no guarantee that the helmet will fit. Different shell sizes
By using different helmet shells the helmets get an even better fit. The smaller helmet shells are used for the smaller sizes and the larger helmet shells for the larger sizes. In this way, size XS has a smaller helmet shell than size XXL.
Fiberglass shell
In general, glass fiber helmets are more expensive than polycarbonate helmets. Glass fiber is highly resistant to weather conditions and UV-light. By using glass fiber, the helmet is also much lighter and the impact is better absorbed during an accident. The lifetime of a glass fiber helmet is on average between 8-10 years (provided the helmet is used properly).Specifications
