POLINI EVOLUTION GEAR CRANKCASE FOR PIAGGIO MOPEDS
All the technical innovations of the Polini Evolution Gear Crankcase have been designed to increase resistance in the most toughest uses and ensure strength in case of racing uses.
The new crankcase is characterized by a modern and integrated design with various technical characteristics:
- Increase of the sections of bearing housings to improve stiffness.
- The wheel axle bearing has been reworked with larger diameter.
- Pressed roller bearings and oil seals with spring-loaded radial lip.
- 5 hexagonal head screws compared to the 4 hexagonal head screws present in the original reducer.
- The gasket that seals the two crankcases is made of a layer of aluminum to increase stiffness and two rubber surface layers for sealing which guarantee its duration over time.

The Polini Evolution gear cover for Piaggio mopeds can be mounted both with the original gears and with Polini gears (item 202.1425 and 202.1427 or 202.1426) combined with the shims code 246.058 (Attention: after mounting the Polini gear crankcase, the "bike" mode cannot be used).
