The Malossi HTQ gears for the Vespa PX combine the legacy of the first gear project produced by Malossi in the late '80s and early '90s.

Completely redesigned, these primary gears use a straight-tooth configuration instead of the standard helical teeth.

Malossi has worked hard to ensure the exceptional silence of the gears, achieved through special work on the tooth profiles and the corresponding contact surfaces, meticulously treated and verified with a developed circle diagram. The Malossi HTQ gears are made using exclusively materials that exceed the strict standards set by our technicians, with very strict testing and controls. The final work is performed with numerically controlled machines, after which the Malossi HTQ gears undergo a complete thermochemical cementation treatment at 900°C, which gives the desired hardness and resistance. The size and quality of the finished gears are ultimately checked on Speiss 3D measuring machines. Assembled in pairs to ensure the correct operating clearance, the Malossi HTQ gears are the most precious gift a true passionate romantic can give to their Vespa.
