Thanks to the new SECOND ROLLER GEAR secondary gears, Malossi technicians have achieved the goal of minimizing power loss due to friction within the final gear reduction, ensuring that the wheel receives the maximum power output from the engine. The key innovation in this project is the introduction of two roller shells in the gearbox housing at the end of the engine casing, supporting a special secondary shaft with straight-cut teeth.

This solution transforms a rotational movement with sliding friction and direct steel-to-aluminum contact (as in the original system) into a rotation with rolling friction on steel rollers. Another advantage of this innovation is the ease of installation, as the two roller shells included in the ROLLER GEAR MALOSSI kit can simply be placed into the original housing slots.
