Scratch resistant paint
Each shell, after being smoothed, is given several layers of varnish. The outer shell is then coated with a transparent, scratch-resistant varnish. This makes the helmet less prone to damage.Polycarbonate shell
A polycarbonate outer shell is relatively cheap to produce, which makes the helmets affordable. The helmet is produced by using a mould where the material is poured and compressed. By using plasticizers, the plastic becomes elastic. Through exposure to UV-light and various weather conditions, these plasticisers deteriorate. This means that a polycarbonate helmet should be replaced after approximately 5 years.Removable inner lining
The inner lining is attached to the inner shell by snaps or velcro. The removable inner lining can be washed with neutral soap. In this way, the lining remains in good quality and the helmet fresh. In addition to the inner lining, the cheek pads are also removable.Micrometric buckle
The micrometric buckle is the most frequently used buckle on helmets and easy to use. The rattle buckle ensures that it can be adjusted to the correct position. The buckle is easily opened by pulling the red loop.Anti-theft ring
The chin strap of the helmet is equipped with a metal ring. By using this ring, the helmet can be attached to the hook under the saddle. In this way, theft is prevented.Removable cheek pads
In addition to the inner lining, the cheek pads can also be removed. These are attached with velcro or several press-studs. Washing the cheek pads with neutral soap will keep them fresh. Make sure that the cheek pads are dry when they are put back into the helmet.Removable collar part
The helmet is equipped with an additional collar that is attached to the inner shell with a zip or velcro. The collar provides extra comfort and protection against the cold in the winter. If the collar is no longer used, it can easily be removed.Removable chin protector
The chin guard must ensure that the chin strap does not come in contact with the neck. This can cause an irritated feeling. The chin guard can be removed and washed if necessary.Goggles fixation
On the back of the helmet, there is a leather strap with a press stud. The elastic of the helmet goggles can be threaded through here. In this way, the elastic strap stays on the helmet while riding.Average weight size M +/-760gr
The weight of the helmet depends on the type of helmet. A jet-helmet is generally lighter than a system helmet. Glass fibre is also lighter than polycarbonate. The helmet is often measured in size M without visor. The second number on the sticker at the back of the helmet indicates the weight of the visor.CE EN1078 / CE EN1077
If you want to participate in the traffic on an electric bike in Europe, you are obliged to wear a helmet with CE EN 1078 certification for each person under the age of 12 and we strongly recommend wearing a helmet for teenagers and adults. This certification entails a set of minimum requirements that a helmet must meet. The CE EN 1078 certification is on the label attached to the strap.Air stream system
This helmet is equipped with front air vents which allows the fresh air inlet that, passing through the proper ducting in the inner shell, arrives to the rider, helping to keep fresh and oxygenated the inside of the helmet.Elastic fabric loop
Elasticated fabric loop that allows you to lock the excess strap in the folded position.Sizes XXXS-XXS-XS-S-M-L-XL-XXL
The size of the helmet is determined by the number of centimeters of head circumference. The size is measured with a measuring tape above the ears along the widest part of the head. The number of centimeters determines the size. The sizes are however an indication. This is no guarantee that the helmet will fit. Check per brand how the size is calculated.Click here to determine your helmet size.
