Article information

The 204 is a light demi jet helmet with an excellent fit. Realised with a shell specially created for kids, available in 4 sizes to cover the different age range. The helmet has a removable sun visor painted in the colour of the shell. The single colour version is made in five different colours and has removable and washable intrior and cheek pads.

Polycarbonate shell

A polycarbonate outer shell is relatively cheap to produce, which makes the helmets affordable. The helmet is produced by using a mould where the material is poured and compressed. By using plasticizers, the plastic becomes elastic. Through exposure to UV-light and various weather conditions, these plasticisers deteriorate. This means that a polycarbonate helmet should be replaced after approximately 5 years.

Micrometric buckle

The micrometric buckle is the most frequently used buckle on helmets and easy to use. The rattle buckle ensures that it can be adjusted to the correct position. The buckle is easily opened by pulling the red loop.

Anti-theft ring

The chin strap of the helmet is equipped with a metal ring. By using this ring, the helmet can be attached to the hook under the saddle. In this way, theft is prevented.

Sun peak with snap buttons

The sun peak is simply attached to the snaps of the helmet. If the visor is not used, it can easily be removed. The snaps are visible on the helmet. The sun peak blocks most of the sun rays and gives the helmet a special look.

Sizes YS-YM-YL-YXL

The size of the helmet is determined by the number of centimeters of head circumference. The size is measured with a measuring tape above the ears along the widest part of the head. The number of centimeters determines the size. The sizes are however an indication. This is no guarantee that the helmet will fit. Check per brand how the size is calculated.

ECE 22-05 certification

If you want to participate in traffic on a moped, scooter or motorbike in Europe you are obliged to wear a helmet with the ECE certification. This certification meet of a number of minimum requirements that a helmet must pass. The ECE certification can be found on the label attached to the chinstrap.
