Kids Cross Helmet CGM 209G Winner Orange
Article information
The 209G Rocky cross helmet by CGM is available in two different colours. The helmet has an anti-scratch paint and has a removable sun visor. Just as with adult helmets, it has the same characteristics.
The inner lining and cheek pads are completely removable so that you can properly maintain or replace them.
This helmet fits comfortably and is equipped with an advanced air ventilation system for a constant fresh air flow, keeping your head cool while driving.
Polycarbonate shell
A polycarbonate outer shell is relatively cheap to produce, which makes the helmets affordable. The helmet is produced by using a mould where the material is poured and compressed. By using plasticizers, the plastic becomes elastic. Through exposure to UV-light and various weather conditions, these plasticisers deteriorate. This means that a polycarbonate helmet should be replaced after approximately 5 years.Front and/or rear ventilation system
The ventilation system consists of air inlets at the front and/or rear. Through air channels in the inner shell, the incoming air is guided through the helmet. In this way, the rider experiences a constant air flow which also guarantees a pleasant temperature inside the helmet.Removable inner lining
The inner lining is attached to the inner shell by snaps or velcro. The removable inner lining can be washed with neutral soap. In this way, the lining remains in good quality and the helmet fresh. In addition to the inner lining, the cheek pads are also removable.Perforated inner lining
The ventilation system in the helmet ensures a constant air flow. Through the perforated inner lining, this air, which enters through the air channels, can also reach the skin. This way it always stays cool inside the helmet. In winter, the ventilation system can be closed so no air enters the helmet.Extra soft inner lining
By using softer materials compared to the standard lining, the helmet provides even more comfort. During a long ride, the soft lining is absolutely noticeable.Micrometric buckle
The micrometric buckle is the most frequently used buckle on helmets and easy to use. The rattle buckle ensures that it can be adjusted to the correct position. The buckle is easily opened by pulling the red loop.Standard inner lining
Simple inner lining that fits well around the user's head. The inner lining is made of a soft material that prevents discomfort while riding. In general, this lining is found in the cheaper helmets.Helmet graphics with scratch resistant varnish
Each helmet is carefully treated to achieve the right finish. After the helmet has been smoothed, it is sprayed in several layers of colour. Then the helmet is covered with water-based graphics. Finally, the helmet is covered with a transparent scratch-resistant lacquer.Sun visor (attached)
This sun visor is attached to the helmet by bolts. If required, the visor can be removed with tools. The main function of the sun visor is to protect the driver from sunlight. This sun visor is often found on cross helmets. The visor also protects the driver from splashing mud.Average weight size M +/-1100gr
The weight of the helmet depends on the type of helmet. A jet-helmet is generally lighter than a system helmet. Glass fibre is also lighter than polycarbonate. The helmet is often measured in size M without visor. The second number on the sticker at the back of the helmet indicates the weight of the visor.Sizes YS-YM-YL-YXL
The size of the helmet is determined by the number of centimeters of head circumference. The size is measured with a measuring tape above the ears along the widest part of the head. The number of centimeters determines the size. The sizes are however an indication. This is no guarantee that the helmet will fit.
