THIRD SUPPORT

Malossi's technicians, always attentive to the various signals and requests from riders, have focused on Minarelli-Yamaha engines, whose variator assembly has certain shortcomings.

The high RPM that the drive pulley group undergoes generates strong vibrations and oscillations of the primary shaft. To solve these issues, the primary gearshaft has been lengthened to be inserted into a bearing mounted on the original crankcase cover. This modification prevents the shaft from bending, thereby ensuring the proper functioning of the entire CVT system.

To mount the bearing support on the original crankcase cover, only two small interventions are required (see assembly instructions).
