But many are the technical features that mark out this new Maxi Hi Speed: The rollers sliding surfaces have sustained a new polishing treatment to improve the sliding. The bush is made of special casehardened chromed-nickel steel, tempered and ground. It has a big internal pocket that contains the grease, inside of which there is a special spring that allows a constant grease distribution on the pin even during the hardest conditions of use.
Thanks to this new technology the performance is constant and, compared to the previous models, it isn’t necessary anymore to modify the rollers’ calibration to find the best engine efficiency. It is available with compression spring which is 7% harder than the original one increasing the engine revolution rate when starting. The rollers have a coating made of a new mixture of nylon and aramidic fibers. This combines to give the best performance and less servicing costs thanks to these particular features that have also improved the bush and pin lubrication, while the rollers material allows for a better wear resistance.
